Here are some tools and links which will help you navigate your journey with PID

1. Claiming from your medical aid

Advise from Kelly Du Plessis of Rare Diseases South Africa is that when claiming make sure that you need to include the following on your medical aid submission;

1. Motivation including supporting documents
2. A completed PMB application form (all vary dependent on schemes)
3. A script which includes dosage and ICD 10 code.

Patients who are declined, would need to then notify us via our Rare Assist page on the website. Please see the codes for claiming below

2. Tracking your health

4ID from IPOPI is a great tool for tracking aspects of your PID and your own health https://4id.ipopi.org

3. Stockout reporting form

Click on the link to the Stockout form available on the Rare Diseases website if you are unable to get your product https://www.rarediseases.co.za/stock-outs
