We are growing this library of How To sheets; at present we have just have two and they are around organising and reporting on events. The Board can provide all sorts of assistance when it comes to events ranging from ideas for functions and fundraisers, event planning including budget, the design of invitations, letters to guest speakers, the provision of banners and posters, ready-made but customised Power Point presentations and help with claiming for the event.

We need to grow our community especially in the state sector so PID material in the local hospitals and clinics is important. Planning an event in one of these venues is a really effective way to do this. Also, social events are quick and easy to organise e.g. a picnic is also fine!
