It is vital that you, or your treating doctor\/nurse use this form to notify SAHPRA of any adverse reaction that you might have from using IG products. This information is vital for several reasons including the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. If your treating doctor recommends alternative IG products due to an adverse reaction, most medical aids will require proof of submission of this form before approving alternative IG products;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. It adds to the post-marketing information on the safety of products over the long term, and can lead to changes in recommended dosages, updating of side effect profile of a product and warns treating doctors what side effects to watch out for in future. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You can report an adverse event even if you are not certain that it was caused by the suspected IG product, and you can report it even if you don’t know all the details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
